It was all Fake! Police arrest Witch doctor and two men for faking Mombasa black magic incident

Police in Mombasa have arrested four people suspected to have stage-managed the Wednesday morning dramatic sorcery incident in Bamburi.According to Daily Nation, two men both from Uganda claiming to be witch doctors and two other who acted as the thieves were arrested and arraigned in court earlier today after the incident.The men were also accused of being in possession of a snake without a Kenya Wildlife Service permit while the owner of the car that was claimed stolen is currently being questioned at Bamburi Police Station.Kisauni OCPD Christopher Rotich, while confirming the incident, said they have arrested the witchdoctor, his accomplice and two other men said to have stolen a vehicle in Kiembeni.“We have already taken them to court, the witch doctor and his assistant and the other two men who stole the vehicle.” He said.It has been discovered the two stage managed the whole incident to boost their witch doctor business.Believed to be the victims of some ‘strong medicine’ in the form of black magic set on them by the owner of the "stolen" vehicle, the two men played as suspects then men stripped naked and began bathing in a pool of mud.The incident attracted hundreds of people who came to witness.
