Kenyans among the saddest in the world - UN 

Kenya has been named among the unhappiest country in a new report.The UN World Happiness Report 2018 has put Kenya at number 124 out of 156 countries, sinking 12 spots from last year's mark. In 2016, Kenya was placed at 122.Kenya, however, is still doing better than all other East African who have all been ranked below 130 with Uganda coming at 135, Sudan in 137th, Rwanda (151), Tanzania (153), South Sudan (154) and Burundi who were ranked last (156).The rankings were based on income, freedom, trust, healthy life expectancy, social support and generosity.“The top five countries all have almost equally high values for the six factors found to support happiness, and four of these countries—Denmark, Switzerland, Norway and now Finland—have been in first place in the six World Happiness Report rankings since the first report,” said report co-editor John Helliwell, a professor emeritus of economics at the University of British Columbia.The United States landed in 18th place, dropping four spots from last year.
