American Reality TV Star Elated by "Kuracia & Ngurario" Ceremony

Shamea Morton is getting married this July, but the wedding festivities have already begun for The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal. Shamea and her fiancé Gerald Mwangi, who is originally from Kenya, recently took part in a traditional dowry ceremony prior to their nuptials.The RHOA bride-to-be just posted a photo of herself and Gerald at the ceremony looking stunning in their traditional garb on Instagram. “This past weekend was my ‘Kuracia & Ngurario’ (Dowry & Traditional Kikuyu Wedding Ceremony). It was BEAUTIFUL!" Shamea gushed in the caption to the pic. "We were surrounded by so many of our friends and family! My father in law gave me the name 'Mumbi'- she was regarded as mother of the Kikuyu people. We are looking forward to our Western ceremony in Kenya in July!!!”
Shames has previously stated that she and Gerald will be tying the knot in a ceremony Nyeri, Kenya on July 22, and the reception will be held on Mount Kenya. She said she wants to party "all night long" with her wedding guests, who she hopes will include Kenya MooreKandi BurrussTodd TuckerCynthia Bailey, and Porsha Williams. "I want it to be an experience for my guests, not just the wedding day," she said. "I want them to leave like, ‘Oh my goodness, that was fun.’"
