Businesswoman sues Jambo Jet after after male crew burnt her thigh

A Businesswoman has sued Jambo Jet airline for Sh 214,600 compensation after a flight attendant reportedly “poured hot beverage on her thigh”.Rebecca Mulongo Wanyonyi sustained serious burn injuries during the incident on August 2016.The lady wants the local budget airline to take responsibility for its worker whom she alleges, due to his carelessness, poured hot beverage on her right thigh causing her second-degree burns.Achach says that his client has been ignored completely despite raising the matter with the airline.“Despite demand and notice of intention to sue, the defendant has failed, refused and or neglected to admit liability and compensate the plaintiff “, read part of the suit papers.Wanyonyi wants the court to compel the airline to pay her special damages following the accident.She is also asking for unspecified amount for pain and suffering, Interests on damages and the cost of the suit.
