Confusion as Dennis Oliech and sisters fight over mother's burial

There was confusion and drama at Nation Media's offices after former Harambee Stars captain Dennis Oliech's family clashed on when their mother should be buried.The family members in the process, ended up publishing two conflicting obituaries for the deceased which were all published on Daily Nation on Tuesday 7th August 2018.Mama Mary Auma died on July 20th 2018 after she succumbed to cancer.The first obituary which appears on page 45 of Daily Nation indicates that Mama Oliech’s burial will be held on August 18 2018 at the family home in Ratta-Seme, Kisumu county.The second obituary is on page 46 of Daily Nation and indicates that the deceased will be ferried home on the night of August 9, 2018 for arrival at the family home on August 10th  – which is presumably the burial date.The family members insisted that both obituaries should be published and done at the same time. It not yet clear why they insisted on this but a family member who spoke to Nation said the funeral will be on 18 of August.
