20 years on: Kenyans mark 1998 Nairobi bomb blast

Kenyan gathered for the twentieth anniversary of the August 7, 1998, bomb attack on the US Embassy in Kenya that killed 213 people and injured more than 5,000 others.Twelve Americans died in the attacks, including two CIA agents at the Nairobi embassy, in the horrific event planned by Al Qaeda terror group that was led by Osama bin Laden.On Tuesday 7, Kenyans gathered at the Memorial park in Nairobi to remember all the heroes and victims who perished on the fateful day.“As we remember the sadness of that day, we recall also the acts of heroism, compassion, and caring.
