Heartbroken Mother Of Daughter Killed By A Suspected Kenyan Drunk Driver Breaks Her Silence

On Sunday morning, 23-year-old Promise Hamilton and her boyfriend, 26-year-old Luis Solano, were on their way to DFW International Airport when a suspected drunk driver ran the red light and struck their car, setting it into a ball of fire. The couple, who were heading to France, died on the spot.The suspected drunk driver, 26 year old Kenyan native Moses Githenya Mwangi,  was charged with two counts of intoxication manslaughter. He is being held in the Collin County jail on $500,000 bail.A few days after the accident, Hamilton's mother has broken her silence and talked to media about losing her her daughter:"Promise had everything going for her. She had the perfect job. She leading a beautiful life. She was excited about starting her new chapter in France. We were all excited about it. The last thing she texted me was when she was exiting. We were all waiting in the car so that we can go together (to the airport). That was the last I heard from her. Then I started calling her; calling Luis. Nobody was answering.
