Kenyan pastor to launch book focusing on African Immigrant marriages in America

A Kenyan pastor based in Baltimore is set to launch a book which aims at shedding some light on relationship challenges of immigrants in living in the US.Rev. Canon Dr. John Karanja will be launching his new book titled “Bend without Breaking” at St. Andrews I.C.CA.E.Church 6515 Loch Raven Blvd, Baltimore, MD 21239 on Saturday April 8th, 2017.Karanja has been married to Ann John for almost 50 years now. In the book, he addresses challenges of migrating to a new country, potentially negative impact of acculturation stressors and how people handle their relationships upon relocating.This will be the second book from the preacher after he released “Understanding the Family Dynamics of Immigrant” almost three years ago.
