Kirinyaga Deputy Governor sends public apology to wife and Kenyans, prison warder arrested

Drama surrounding Kirinyaga's Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri has taken yet another turn after coming out and offering a public apology to his family and Kenyans at large.A prison warder stationed at Nyandarua prisons has been arrested as a key suspect for clobbering the deputy while recording the leaked video. The video, which has since taken Social Media by storm, shows a hapless Ndambiri being forced to confess to his sins by a man claiming to be the woman's husband but who is not captured in the video.Kenyans have also claimed the woman in the saga was in another similar one two years ago where a pastor was busted with her in a lodging. The deputy, in an emotional statement to the media, said that the man and the woman have been black mailing him for sometime now with the video. He also apologized to his wife, family and Kenyans in general, promising to bring the people responsible for his humiliation to the books."The video and the statement circulating in sections of the social media on the same issue is strange to the Police. Investigations are underway to arrest the author and present him/her before court," the statement read in part.Ndambiri claimed he had gone for negotiations on a property he wanted to buy near Thika town when the gang struck.“All I want is for the police to move with speed and apprehend the criminals. The whole country wants to see those people so that they can be careful not to fall prey,” he said. https://youtu.be/IQr7ZtDeqM0
