Lady Who Lost Mum To Cancer Angers Kenyans With Insensitive Comments About Late Janet Kanini

Former NTV presenter Janet Kanini Ikua passed away on Saturday, April 1, after a long battle with lung cancer which made her a champion to many Kenyans.Ikua was diagnosed with the disease in October 2015 and she came out and made her situation public.A Kenyan lady going be the name Whitney Mukami, was angry with Kenyans and in turn, angered them back by posting "insensitive" comments about Ikua as the country unites to mourn her.Mukami was bitter with Kenyans for not mourning with her when she lost two members from her family because of cancer, in the process, she asked Kenyans not to mourn Ikua so much because many are just pretending.“Hii kelele yote ya Janet Kanini amekufa, is she the first one or the last one to die? It is an opportunity for another woman to take her place na life continues,” Kanini said on Facebook annoying Kenyans.She continued: Now fellow ladies you all turn against me and pray that I die… Gachagua just died the other day and life continues… I didn’t see this kind of stoning; I have lost my mom n sisters through cancer… I didn’t see this bile, are other deaths more special than others? mshindwe you hypocrites.The post immediately went viral with Kenyans giving their opinions.In 2016, Janet announced that she had been healed from the cancer and embarked on campaigns aimed at creating cancer awareness among Kenyans.
