Mau Mau Warns International Community And Agencies Ahead Of The August Polls
Veterans of the independence struggle known as Mau Mau have issued a stern warning ahead of the August General Election.The international community has been warned against interfering with the county’s politics ahead of the August 8 General Election. Get Amazing Deals!!Follow this linkThe council’s Secretary General Wambugu Githaiga claimed the 2007 post election violence in the country was fueled by the international community who had partisan agenda.“This is a trend that not only fuels an agenda that is seemingly partisan but also affects the national psyche negatively,” he said.The Mau Mau veterans said they will not allow foreign embassies to take up roles of independent institutions in Kenya. “We refuse to allow embassies to take up the role of independent institutions in Kenya,” said Githaiga.
