Trumps shocks the world yet again while having lunch with African leaders
A pronunciation slip by President Donald Trump appeared to create a new member of the United Nations on Wednesday, as the U.S. leader lunched with several African heads of state on the sidelines of the annual General Assembly gathering.Trump spoke of “Nambia” in his opening remarks, before saying “Nambia’s health system is increasingly self-sufficient” during the event, at the Palace Hotel in New York."Nambia's health system is increasingly self-sufficient," said US President Donald Trump at the lunch. The gaffe inspired jokes and memes all day on Twitter, including direct comparisons with Trump's infamous "covfefe" tweet of May this year.

Social media users wasted no time in offering their own explanations.Trump went on to make things worse. Some Twitter users bristled at President Trump's comments about Africa's "tremendous business potential"."I have so many friends going to your countries trying to get rich. I congratulate you, they're spending a lot of money," Mr Trump said."It [represents] huge amounts of different markets... It's really become a place they have to go, that they want to go."The president has been meeting with world leaders throughout the week during his visit to the United Nations. Trump made his first speech before the group on Tuesday.

"My friends go to your countries to get rich" = Colonalisers. @realDonaldTrump could you at least learn how to pronounce Namibia? #NAMBIA

I know “Nambia” will be the narrative that comes from those remarks, but POTUS is right on this: Africa has tremendous business potential.
