William Ruto speaks after Supreme Court ruling: Halleluyah! Glory to God in heaven
Deputy President William Ruto was among millions of Kenyans who welcomed and celebrated the Supreme Court ruling to uphold President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the October 26,fresh election. On Twitter, the VP thanked God for the verdict and hailed him for giving Kenya hope for the future. The bench in a oneness of mind, on Monday, found that the two separate petitions, that of Harun Mwau and that of Khelef Khalifa and Njonjo Mwau, failed to show that the poll was so fundamentally flawed to warrant a nullification.''HALLELUYAH! GLORY TO GOD IN HEAVEN. HE HAS REMEMBERED OUR NATION,GIVEN US HOPE & FUTURE. WAKENYA JAMENI MUBARIKIWE MPAKA MSHANGAE TOGETHER.''Ruto wrote on the social media site.

Delivering the ruling that took less than 10 minutes, the Chief Justice said the three petitions as filed did not convince the court to nullify, for a second time, Uhuru's win.The court ruled that the repeat election was legitimate and Uhuru was validly elected. Maraga said the judges could not write the full judgement as they had only two days to make a determination.
