Babu Owino's exact explicit harsh words against Uhuru and his mother that has annoyed Kenyans
Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has courted controversy again after using dishonourable language while referring to President Uhuru Kenyatta.Not shy from controversy since his campus days, Owino made unexpected statement on Sunday, September 24 while on a opposition campaign trail in the city.In a viral clip, the young politician attacks Uhuru and his mother, a think that has sparked outrage."Kama Gaddafi alitolewa na wananchi, kama Gbagbo alitolewa na wananchi, kama Yahya Jammeh alitolewa na wananchi, wewe ni nani? "Wewe ni mtoto wa (sic) (If Gaddafi was removed by the citizens, if Gbabgbo was removed by citizens, if Yahya Jammeh was removed by citizens, who are you? You are a son of a (sic)," he said.

Kenyans online called for his arrest over the weekend, but the legislator on Monday posted on Facebook that he was not referring to President Kenyatta.He added that he wont apologize for something he's not done.“I will not apologize to anyone because I called nobody’s name during my yesterday’s address. We have so many presidents in Kenya, from the President of Sonu to all presidents of students union in Kenya, President of the Supreme Court, President of Youth senate and many more," he said.“However I will stick to objective politics and will never abuse anybody. Let my brothers and sisters from the kikuyu nation know that I did not abuse their president. One Kenya one nation… God bless Kenya."Uhuru, In a message from his official twitter account, down plays the entire incident through a cryptic message to NASA co principals.Uhuru, in his response, has urged opposition leaders to quit misleading youth into insults.“Let us stop going around teaching our young men to insult their elders but rather focus on giving our children a quality education.” Uhuru’s tweet read.
