Why music duo P-Square has split up

In a rather surprising news, fans woke up to see legal notice, served by Peter Okoye through his lawyer Festus Keyamo, asking for a dissolution of the group; claiming a threat to his wife and children’s lives.According to a report by Linda Ikeji, Peter has chosen to terminate his contractual agreement between the group saying he won't betray his wife and kids for the group.Peter is reported to have have said his twin brother, Paul and elder brother, Jude, had seemingly severed ties with him despite his efforts to make their relationship work.For two years running, Peter has repeatedly stated that the group needs a new manager, as he is no longer comfortable with Jude as their manager.

Peter reportedly said that Paul has refused to work with him, despite all of his attempts to make their relationship work.

In the letter, he says he had had enough but he has to move on. He loves and wishes his brothers well in their respective careers, he said, and he is opting out and adopting the name Mr P.
