Former Resident Of Dallas, Texas Wins Big In Jubilee Nominations

A former resident of Dallas, Texas has clinched the senate nomination under Jubilee Party in Nakuru County.Susan Kihika, the current Nakuru County Assembly speaker, won overwhelmingly, garnering 192,596 against her challenger Karanja Kabage who had 30,916 votes.Kihika, the daughter of late politician Kihika Kimani, relocated to the USA in 1993 after completing her high school education at Bishop Gatimu Ngandu Girls in Nyeri County.By Profession, Susan Kihika holds a Political Science and Government Degree from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, USA.After living, studying and working in USA for close to 20 years, Susan Kihika decided it was time to come back to Kenya and become involved in the development of her home country.Kihika, a mum of two daughters, has kept her family life private and rarely speaks about her immediate family in public. It is alleged that Mburu is a divorcée who parted ways with his wife due to irreconcilable differences.After unsuccessfully contesting a parliamentary seat in the 2013 elections, she then ran for and was elected the County Assembly Speaker on a TNA ticket.
