Historic Milestone as Kenya Airways Announce Date For New York-Nairobi Flights

The wait and curiosity is over! Kenya Airways is set to commence daily flights between Nairobi and New York in October. In this historic milestone, flight time between the two cities will be cut by 7 hoursKenya Airways chairman Michael Joseph has intimated that the national carrier is currently loading flights into the KQ system. "We shall go live and ready for bookings on Thursday" he told media.Passengers travelling to JFK will arrive early in the morning-6.30am while the return flight to will depart JFK at 1.30Pm and arrive in Nairobi 10.30am next day.In addition, each trip will have a maximum of 234 passengers-204 in the coach and the rest in Business class.America remains Kenya's top source of visitors. The sheer large number of Kenyans in America is also expected to help the national airline get passengers with a patriotic angle.
