Photos of the sexy dancer banned by Mugabe’s government from events for not wearing panties
Controversial South African dancer and socialite Zodwa Wabantu has been banned from a Zimbabwean national event over her nudity antics.Zimbabwean officials cancelled a scheduled performance by Zodwa at the Harare International Festival after a complaint was received from local actress Anne Nhira. She questioned why a South African was being used to perform when there many young Zimbabweans who were working hard and more than capable of doing the same job.The actress had taken issue with Wabantu stating that she dances erotically with no panties and was extremely over hyped at the expense of local talent.
"Zodwa dances with no panties and posts naked pictures on social media. How does that qualify her to be a Zimbabwe national tourist attraction and to attend a function of the highest stature this year? asked Nhira. In turn, government allegedly responded and said the appearance and performance by Zodwa would be cancelled. The entertainer told TshisaLIVE that she learnt about the decision on social media.“I acknowledge your complaint on the above subject matter. Government position is that the artist concerned (Zodwa Wabantu) may not participate at the Harare International Carnival. In this regard, relevant authorities have been notified.” Read the letter in part."To be honest I don't even understand where she is coming from. If I was a nobody, I wouldn't have received the invite in the first place. So maybe it comes from a place of jealousy. Why would a person just randomly write such a letter?" Zodwa said.Wabantu is known for eyebrow raising dancing moves that border on the extreme and is known not to wear panties in her high-octane routines."I will remain Zodwa whether I perform there or not. For her, people will now know who she is because of me," she said. You can watch her in the video below:
